Combinations that vary depending on the product

Each product has its own design and its own space. Some products have a single name written on them. In some of them, the name and a short phrase appear together. In some of them, the trio of name, date and word is established. In sets prepared for couples, both names are used.

Why can't very long articles be written?

Glass, lighter, plate—these are not large surfaces. As the text gets longer, it has to be reduced to fit in the same space, and this is where a technical limit comes into play.

The engraving is engraved with a laser and the laser processes the text by scanning it line by line. When the graphic falls below a certain size, the scan does not come out properly: letters merge into each other and fine details are lost. That's why we pre-calculate the ratio of text to area on every order.

Sometimes even writing the name and surname together does not suit that product.

This limit is due to the small size of the surface to be engraved. Longer texts are possible in a large area such as the inside of the lid of a wooden box; There is no such option in our standard products, but if you have a special request we can discuss it before ordering.

If it does not fit, we are calling you

If the text you write does not fit the product, we do not start production. We call or write you, explain the situation and together we find a solution — shorten the text, place it differently or redirect it to another product.

Everyone understands when we explain. No one wants a product that will look bad, and we don't want to ship a product like that out the door. That's why we don't have "misprinted" examples — because we're talking before we get to that stage.

Dates are written in numbers

If you are going to print the date, we do not use letters, only numbers. In other words, it is engraved as 12.05.2024, not 12 May 2024. It uses space efficiently and looks clearer in engraving.

Designs belong to us

The engravings, patterns and models on our products are special to us. None of them are ready-made or copied from somewhere else. The design in which we place your text and the balance of that design on the product are both our jobs.

That's why we pay attention to where the text will appear, at what size and in what alignment. These settings, which are often unnoticed, are what make the difference in a personalised gift.
